What you’ll do: + Responsible for managing and developing relationships with many vendors and hundreds of raw materials for established and newly developed product lines, effectively communicating and working with vendors to improve delivery and lead time performance, and performing other duties as assigned. + Utilize SAP purchasing and MRP modules to timely and effectively place orders, confirm orders, manage vendor and pricing information, maintain and improve delivery dates, and identify and remove excess orders while keeping the data in SAP clean and accurate. + Have responsibility for root cause analysis for stock levels being over or under the desirable stock level and support in corrective actions. + Work with the production planning team to identify critical components to achieve the site's OTD and Lead Time targets, and work with the receiving and operations teams to solve material-related issues. + Understand and deploy Kanban systems for purchasing and shop floor material requisitions. Who you are: + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in supply chain, business, engineering, or another related field and a minimum of four years experience in a production/material planning role in a manufacturing environment + OR + Associate’s degree from an accredited university or college in supply chain, business, engineering, or another related field and a minimum of six years experience in a procurement role in a manufacturing environment + OR + High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of eight years experience in a procurement role in a manufacturing environment + A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in planning or procurement roles utilizing SAP MRP/ERP systems, proficiency in data analysis in Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, visualizing, etc.). + Demonstrate experience in vendor relationship management and improvement; effectively make critical decisions with significant impact to ensure supply and mitigate financial risk. + Adaptive to changing needs and processes, able to develop ways to measure and manage dynamic issues using data and problem-solving methods, such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc. + Comfortable managing own workload and priorities, being a leader in a group environment, and solving complex issues It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + APICS CPIM/CSCP Certification or equivalent + Data Analysis + Qlik Tools, Oracle The salary range for this role is $65k-$85k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
