*Senior Buyer*** *Who We Are* /3D Systems is looking to add a Senior Buyer to our team to complete Sustaining Buying, drive efficiency and cost-saving initiatives, and complete projects as assigned to meet the Sales and Operations Plan. Maintain supplier relationships. Responsible for raw material inventory levels, price, quality, and on-time delivery./ *What We Are Looking For* Purchase Order Processing – Place purchase orders and release shipments against purchase orders as required to meet the Sales and Operations Plan. Manage Inventory – Maintain all assigned MRP parameters in Oracle. System Maintenance—Ensure current and accurate information regarding delivery, lead time, and price is correctly reflected in the MRP system (Oracle). Supply Management – Research and develop working relationships with Suppliers. Establish lines of communication with suppliers to ensure proactive notification of any exception status. Price and Quality – Meet established price, quality, and on-time delivery objectives. Resolve quality and quantity discrepancies and perform other duties as required. Strategic Initiatives - Will be asked to initiate or participate in strategic projects. *Education and Training* · Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Engineering, General Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred * Procurement or Supply Chain focused certifications (APICS/ASCM, ISM, etc.) preferred *Experience* 5 years of experience in tactical procurement with an OEM or contract. Domestic and international supplier negotiations are a plus. Industrial experience a plus. PPAP experience (Production Part Approval Process) & After-Market or Service-related buying experience preferred. *Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities* Strong, concise communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to influence/persuade while working across various levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and work in Cross-Functional teams. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail-oriented, organized and possess good problem-solving & analytical skills. Experience with Microsoft Office suite Excel, PowerPoint expertise required. Strong negotiation and analytical skills required.
