Job Description
• Negotiate and replenish products (Meat, Produce, Seafood, or Grocery) at competitive market prices, while ensuring accurate delivery. • Assist in establishing pricing guidelines and maintaining sales plus gross profit expectations. • Generate reports and perform analysis on product selection, sales, pricing, market reports, forecast for promotion, and other related data as required. • Purchase produce, fruit, vegetables, and perishables. • Handle items with an expiration date. • Initiate quote process with suppliers, evaluate supplier bids, and participate in price negotiations. • Maintain purchase order updates including delivery dates, prices, or other required supplier information. • Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. • Execute purchase order cancellations and resolve invoice discrepancies. • Place orders for submitted purchase requisitions. • Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and delivery. • Prepare reports, plans, and update metrics as required.
