Senior Buyer Aerospace
Our client in the Aerospace Industry is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team. As a Senior Buyer, you will be part of the Procurement department. The ideal candidate will have Buying, Purchasing and Administration experience which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Senior Buyer** **Location: Chatsworth, Ca** **Pay Range: $35-$36hr** **What’s the Job?** In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following: + Create bid to buy orders for products for clients not under contractual obligations. + Research, select and purchase quality products and materials. + Develop accurate monitoring of systems, metrics, and purchase orders. + Review and approve other buyers purchase orders and request for quotes (RFQ) + Review, analyze, process and expedite MRP (Material Requisition Planning) on a daily basis. **What’s Needed?** + Excel skills- Candidate needs to be able to do V-lookups and Complex formulas. _Macro’s is not needed or required_ . + Experience dealing with manufacturers and other suppliers. + Knowledge and skills demonstrated for contract negotiations + Experience with physical inventory control. + Ability to do analysis and forecasting for exceptionally long lead times compared to customer usage. + Minimum of 5 years of senior procurement or purchasing experience + Minimum 5 years Aerospace fastener buying experience. + 3 years of proposal development preferred. **What’s in it for me?** + Monday through Friday: 1st Shift 8am to 5pm + GREAT COMPETITIVE PAY: Up to $36.00hr + GREAT COMPANY + Weekly pay every Friday + TRUE CONTRACT TO PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
