Senior Buyer (Direct Purchasing) - São Caetano do Sul/SP
Job Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on a full-time basis (3 times a week)

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services to meet the company’s operational needs.(focused on Direct Purchasing)


Additionally, the Buyer will manage procurement budgets and drive technical cost reduction initiatives to ensure cost-effective purchasing:

Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of quality materials.Cost Management: Analyze market trends, manage budgets, and seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and resolve any issuesBudget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage procurement budgets.Ensure all purchasing activities are within budgetary constraints and report on budget performanceTechnical Cost Reductions: Identify and implement technical cost reduction strategies, such as process improvements,product redesigns, and supplier collaboration to reduce overall procurement costsInventory Management: Support suply chain team to inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock to prevent shortages or excess

Additional Job Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

Degree in Engineering, Economy, Administration, Comex, International relations or related areas;Experience in direct material purchasing;Experience with automotive industry, suppliers or related fields.Advanced or Fluent English
