Senior Buyer (Electrical)
What you will do:
Represent purchasing activities to the program team and vice versa
Build and lead an effective team of buyers and planners from the Purchasing Project and Launch Leader.
Partner with Program Managers to represent purchasing and communicate program requirements/vehicle line overview.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to work effectively cross-functionally, internally and externally and build relationships
Experience with commodities (metals, stampings, castings, plastics, resins, paints, electronics, etc.)
Experience in handling commercial issues with suppliers and evaluating supplier performance
Proven competence in negotiation skills
Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
Additional Job DescriptionRequired Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineer, or related Careers.
Previous experience in similar positions (Experience as Buyer with Contracts and Supplier Service).
Microsoft Office: intermediate level.
English: intermediate level.
Availability to work in Sao Caetano Do Sul, Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a hybrid regime (3 times per week in person).
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in the automotive industry
Knowledge of procurement software
Knowledge of materials management
Able to interpret market data
Able to read blueprints and understand basic engineering documents
Solid knowledge of contract law and its applications in purchasing processes
