Senior Buyer - Materials Management - 1.0 FT D

Negotiates cost-effective supply arrangements consistent with established guidelines determined by Wyoming Valley Health Care System (Community Health Systems).  Process purchase orders for both stock and non-stock requests

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is desired.

Experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education.  Minimum of five (5) years experience in a health care environment with exposure in Materials Management or Operations.  Detail oriented; strong interpersonal skills; customer service orientation; good negotiating skills.  Familiar with Lawson Materials Management Information System
