ARS employees are motivated through our industry competitive benefits package, our awards and recognition program, and personalized attention from ARS Senior Managers. **Responsibilities include:** + Provide issue resolution, programmatic and technical recommendations to the Capabilities Development Office (CDO) + Assist CDO strategic analysis, planning, development, prototyping, and technology transition activities in helping to achieve desired program & Directorate outcomes; better leverage resources; align activities with the enterprise + Build stronger, more effective partnerships with the DoD innovation community/defense industrial base + Apply SME knowledge of SIGINT, ELINT, RFDF, UAS, airborne ISR autonomy, and DoD innovation acquisition processes, ISR and SOF program management philosophy, policies/procedures, and analytical method + Utilize SME knowledge to provide expertise to help enable the expansion of rapid acquisition capabilities, eliminate unproductive processes and bureaucracy for next-generation ISR and SOF acquisition, reduce cycle time for new efforts, and ensure sound investments and transitions + Assist in communication networks, coordination, and organizational planning of technical and acquisition efforts across a broad spectrum of disciplines + Support the ISR & SOF Strategic Outlook, planning, technology assessment, classified operational and mission analysis, and flight test of SIGINT, ELINT, RFDF, and autonomy capabilities for airborne ISR platforms + Assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, staff coordination, metric assessment, and roadmap development + Provide advice and draft documentation support to the CDO for the creation of decision documentation, support to program briefings, assistance in scheduling management, and participation in an advisory role in management reviews and coordination of activities leading to milestone reviews + Develop tools, techniques, and procedures for effective management of directorate acquisition efforts and reporting requirements + Utilize SME knowledge and expertise to assist in creating, updating, and maintaining the Strategic Outlook, technology development, and transition processes, best practices, and tools + Support building and adjusting dashboards, flows and other technology-related actions to help drive innovative processes/solutions for the ISR & SOF enterprise, resulting in faster, better decision-making and warfighter capability acquisition support + Apply SME knowledge and expertise to assist the CDO in shaping ISR and SOF acquisitions to support warfighter requirements + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:** **Minimum Experience:** **Citizenship:** Must be a US citizen **Clearance:** Must have and be able to maintain a TS w/SCI/SAP eligibility **Education:** High School Diploma **Years of experience:** 20 years of experience with 8 supporting the DOD in strategic analysis, planning, development, prototyping, and technology transition activities including: + Knowledge of SIGINT, ELINT, RFDF, UAS, airborne ISR autonomy, and DoD innovation acquisition processes + Develop tools, techniques, and procedures for effective management of directorate acquisition efforts and reporting requirements + Milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation and staff coordination, metric assessment and roadmap development **Preferred Experience:** **Certification:** DAU Acquisition Professional Development Program Level II or higher certification **Education and Experience:** + Master’s degree and at least 14 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD + Bachelor’s degree and at least 16 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD + Experience developing Future Years Defense Program budgets **Additional Information** **Location:** Wright-Patterson, AFB, OH **Travel:** 10% All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
