Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Carpenter to join our team in Springfield, VA.

Position Responsibilities:

Utilize general knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety proceduresConstruct commercial office space by providing overall O&M capabilities, with limited supervisionBasic framing/ drywall installation and finishingSuspended ceiling installation/repairsCarpet removal and installation including cove baseRepair and maintain plant and office facilities equipment and demonstrates advanced skill level in these areasInterpret basic schematics and diagramsProvide guidance to less experienced employeesReview customer requirements and may evaluate product capabilities, under general guidanceUse a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipmentFrequent reaching above shoulder level, climbing, kneeling, bending, and continuous standing

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Ability to obtain an adjudicated Counterintelligence Polygraph post-start5+ years of construction experienceCapable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35lbsCustomer support or service experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Active Top Secret /SCI with Counterintelligence or Full Scope polygraph Experience working with a government customer

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $73,100 - $98,900
