Senior Central Supply Distribution Technician



The Central Services Technician is responsible for all task-based Central Services activities.  Central Services activities include, but are not limited to: decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation, assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, paring and replenishment of materials, and receiving and distribution of Central Services supplies.

Required qualifications:

Coursework/Training and Completion of formal Central Services Technician course or successfully challenged Course test. Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association  Or Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution  3 years of related experience with surgical instrumentation in hospital Sterile Processing/ Central Services environment.

Preferred qualifications:

Materials management and/or supply chain experience.
