· Interpret and implement the Agency’s philosophy, policies, routines, and procedures, which effect group living in a manner consistent with their intent.
· Assist in the orientation of new residents to the community residence.
· Support the childcare trainees in fulfilling the responsibilities of their positions, and assist with their on-the-job training.
· Directly supervise CR Recreation Specialist, while ensuring structuring and carry out of recreational activities in the community.
· Supervise the group along with and in the absence of the Program Supervisor.
· Complete, maintain and oversee resident’s shift report logs, communication log and childcare / recreation specialist progress notes.
· Participate directly at Service Plan Reviews, screenings, intake/ admissions, discharge planning meetings and Red Flag Reviews.
· Assist the Program Supervisor in the implementation of the consumer service plans for each consumer in care.
· Communicate problems or potential problems to the Program Supervisor.
· Supervise resident during activities within the community and CR program, in addition to normal daily routines.
· Accept responsibilities as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Director.
· Attend in-service training sessions, conferences and or workshops as required by the position and/or as authorized by the Program Director/ Program Supervisor.
· Attend monthly staff meetings, while working in conjunction with Program Supervisor regarding agenda items.
· Reviews all incidents immediately and informs appropriate staff always including but not exclusively the Program Supervisor/ Director.
· Perform unannounced Supervisory visits at the CR.
· Assist the Program Supervisor in managing incident reports and working in collaboration with QI Department.
· Oversee staffing in conjunction with Program Supervisor, while ensuring that staff to resident ratios is met at all times.
· Work in conjunction with Program Supervisor in managing consumer banking and purchase cards reconciliation.
· Completion of food orders and breakfast & lunch billing.
· Assist initiative in planning and implementing programs and activities regarding service plans in conjunction with the Program Supervisor.
· Assist the Program Supervisor in special projects and related assignments.

· Assist with recreation activities.
· Transport residents to appointments, community trips, and therapeutic Leave as assigned by Supervisor.
· Assist in Crisis Intervention.

II. QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Graduate, BA Degree preferred
· Experience working with children/job related or volunteer
· Acceptable clearance checks for State Central Register, Driver license and fingerprinting as required by the program.
· Compliance with health regulations for physical/mantoux testing.
· Attending TCI class for certification/re-certification and passing a test upon completion of course is a minimum requirement for employment.
