The successful candidate will possess the following:

A well-developed understanding of design concepts relevant to water infrastructure design that incorporate civil/mechanical design elements associated with process piping systems, linear infrastructure, yard piping, pumping stations, and conveyance systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects.
Strong project management and/or design management skills.
Strong commitment to the engineering profession and willingness to promote our profession through community outreach and service.
Desire to learn and grow in your career.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
8 to 15 years of consulting experience, primarily in municipal infrastructure, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management of civil/municipal infrastructure projects (conveyance of water, storm, and wastewater).
California Professional Engineer Registration.

Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Additional Information Salary Range(s): Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s): Location Description: Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC) Min Pay Range: CA Other Areas $108,000 Max Pay Range: CA Other Areas $162,000 Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
