Looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Central Gas Engineering team and provide end-to-end management of selected projects, including, design review of construction documents, bid preparation and evaluation, appropriations, scheduling, construction, and commission. In this role, you will prepare design packages (specifications/drawings) and scope of work to release to engineering firms for bid, select contract vendor, and serve as the primary point of contact for the vendor through the entirety of the project. Looking for an individual who is technically sound with the ability to perform cost benefit analysis and calculations, conduct conceptual studies to determine best designs, prepare budget and appropriation requests, and lastly, to make final decisions based on risk factors associated. You will interface with operations and stakeholders to host bi-weekly meetings on project status, translate technicalities to non-technical folks, and receive feedback as needed. In addition to oversight, this position requires hands-on field support to ensure safe work practices are followed and that project is moving according to plan.
