Job Description You Must be in New Jersey and have New Jersey Workers' Compensation Claims Experience Manage, investigate, and resolve assigned New Jersey workers' compensation claims. Review and analyze records to determine compensability/liability and potential settlement of claims within established financial authority; communicate final outcomes to all appropriate parties. Research impact of new legislation or case law. Conduct interviews, secure vital facts from injured workers, clients, and medical providers to ensure compensability and/or causal relationship of medical treatment. Draft and process timely claim decision letters Establish financial reserve levels by assessing the cost of each assigned claim, monitor and recommend revision, as necessary. Coordinate implementation of client-approved return to work program. Development of case specific return-to-work program to mitigate financial exposure, enhance return-on-investment Qualifications Minimum Education: High School or Equivalent Required Associates and Bachelor's Degree Preferred or 3-4 Years of Equivalent Experience in an Insurance, Medical/Health or Legal Industry Required Skills and Experience: 2-3 years of Experience Handling New Jersey Workers' Compensation Knowledge Required Ability to Prioritize Time Management Skills Verbal and Written Communication Skills Negotiation Skills Desired Skills and Experience: Medical Terminology and Medical/Injury Treatments Ability to Analyze and Decipher Medical Reports Benefits We’re committed to supporting your ultimate well-being through our total compensation package offerings that support your health, wealth and self. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $53,331 - $67,464 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
