Your new role

Deliver a superior claims service, determining policy coverage, investigating, evaluating, and negotiating resolutions. Other key aspects of your role will include:

Working collaboratively within the team to pro-actively manage your own portfolio general liability claims to a successful resolution.Managing the litigation process in conjunction with our Legal PanelBuilding strong and meaningful client and stakeholder relationships by demonstrating positive lines of communication and displaying an empathetic approach that aligns QBE values.Identifying and implementing strategies to minimize claims cost and leakage, and actively participating in and promoting the risk management culture within the team.Supporting and mentoring Claims Specialists on technical and complex matters as required.

As an experienced Claims Specialist within the insurance industry, you will embody QBE DNA, be customer centric and have:

Fundamental knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes.Experience handling general liability and employment disputes claims.Strength in collaboration and supporting other viewpoints – a team player.Strong organisational and communication skillsAbility to analyse and negotiate.Ability to problem, conflict resolution and influence
