For candidates based in NY this position typically pays between $18.79-$21.49 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Schedule and communicate all outgoing loads. Print, compile and distribute daily load outs to warehouse. Review all previous day’s load outs for accuracy. Monitor and track CHEP pallet program, to include invoicing. Assist in development and maintenance of production reports. Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements. Back up staff in other functional areas of the Arkport Plant Office and Production Control Serve as primary receptionist by answering all incoming phone calls and greeting guests in a professional manner. Maintain front office area in an orderly fashion, ensuring that the kitchenette and all office supplies are fully Prepare daily Fed-Ex shipment. Distribute daily, incoming mail from USPS and packages from UPS etc. Ability to run errands with personal vehicle is necessary.  Manage food, beverage and materials for onsite meetings, to include orders and delivery. Provide limited administrative support to other departments. Additional Duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:   

High School diploma or equivalent. 2+ years in a clerical position.

Skills and Competencies:

Ability to handle wide range of administrative and support-related tasks involving clerical, administrative function, research, and management. Strong computer skills for accurate data entry.  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience required. Strong communication skills oral and written. Great attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions 

Work is performed in an office environment with extensive use of computer and phone.  Involves frequent contact with employees and the public.
