Overview:

Under the direction of the Technical Director/Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, associate is responsible for greeting and registration of patients. Schedules patient exams in EPIC, insurance verification, cash collection, generate monthly reports.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Provides service to Front Desk scheduling, answering phones, upload/faxes/printing of Radiographic images utilizing EPIC and PACS and handling of verification for procedures at the sites

Collects cash and is responsible for reconciliations.

Ensure billing and registration information is accurate and entered in EPIC.

Clear Claim Edits and Charge Review Work queues.

 Performs associated general clerical duties.

Cross cover in MMP PET  and Blondell Nuclear Medicine

 

Qualifications:

2 years or more front desk experience in a hospital/doctor environment

HS Diploma ( Required)

General PC and knowledge with Microsoft Office,  Excel, Care link, EPIC, Internet, PACS, Insurance Verification, Medical Terminology,  Outlook, TREKS, US Bank, and Document Scanning

Fax, Copier, PC

Minimum typing skill of 35-50 WPM

Bilingual - SPANISH preferred
