We are seeking a talented individual to join our Manufacturing team at Marsh. This role will be based in Toronto. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
What can you expect?
You will be responsible for growing satisfied client relationships, acquiring new clients and partnering with various resources to provide superior client solutions. The Senior Client Executive is ultimately fully accountable for all solutions and resource delivery to the client as well as the management and growth of the client P&L, individually and in the aggregate across a book of business. Bringing your commercial acumen and business development skills, you will play a critical role in identifying and securing new business opportunities for Marsh.
We will count on you to:
Review client/prospect exposure loss experience and current coverage, and analyze the risk to determine the product/service requirements
Communicate client needs and binding instructions to insurers;
Implement and maintain a quality service plan, including ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, and other relevant documents
Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients
Contribute to placement strategy
Negotiate complex insurance programs with underwriters when required
Advise clients on coverage issues
Conduct stewardship meetings with client participation
Along with the team, generate new sales through existing clients and client referrals in accordance with the business plan
Manage timely billing/collection for each client
Develop a working relationship with all functions within the company to improve client service and increase cross-selling opportunities
Engage the appropriate industry group and Marsh resources to offer best in-front resources for each client/prospect
Participate in professional development activities/courses
Comply with Marsh Excellence and Professional Standards to ensure quality service to all clients
What you need to have:
10+ years experience in commercial insurance
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to independently service medium- to larger-end (somewhat complex) accounts
Developed client relationships with Economic Buyer and Risk Manager
Good knowledge of client risk issues and Marsh solutions
Proven track record of effectively managing and retaining renewal business
