Location: We support US flexible working arrangements in the contiguous 48 states.

The opportunity:  

The Senior Client Insights Data Analyst will help drive Sun Life’s multifaceted program for understanding the needs and experiences of Clients in the US employee benefits market. ​This position is part of the Client Experience & Insights team which is primarily focused on obtaining and analyzing Client feedback mainly via surveys and on occasion via other research methods such as focus groups, interviews, journey mapping etc.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of experience and skills regarding online Client community management, market research, and Client insights in addition to other relevant or transferable skills and experience.

How you will contribute: 

Managing ongoing relationship tracking Client experience surveys and event-based Client experience surveys​

Research design & methodology

Sampling criteria

Questionnaire development

Fielding & collection of survey responses

Stakeholder engagement throughout the research life cycle

Helping drive a deeper understanding of our Clients by:

Analyzing both internal Sun Life data and survey response data to develop clear and actionable insights.

Working with teams across Sun Life to help understand and utilize insights from research

As needed, participate in a broad range of Client insight programs and projects such as:

 In-depth interviews

Journey mapping & Client personas

Ad-hoc Client research and data analysis

Our award winning Employer & Broker Voices Client panels

What you will bring with you: 

Developing and executing survey research (experience with Qualtrics a plus)

Ability to translate data into insights, stories and recommended action items

Strong writing and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate to stakeholders at various levels

Strong data analysis and visualization skills

Solid understanding of basic statistical principles

Well organized with the ability to effectively manage time and prioritize

Experience with employee benefits and/or health insurance industries

Other skills or experience that are a plus but not required:

Experience with text analytics

Experience with qualitative research methods

Basic to intermediate level proficiency querying databases using SQL Server

Salary Range: $76,300 - $114,500

At our company, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The salary range for this role is competitive nationwide, and we strive to ensure that compensation is fair and equitable. Your actual base salary will be determined based on your unique skills, qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location.
