Senior Client Manager

Summary

The Senior Client Manager is responsible for the business of renewable energy operations and maintenance (solar, storage, etc.), from a contractual, regulatory compliance, technical, and financial perspective with a focus on contractual and financial performance.  Be the first point of contact with assigned customers and is responsible for all communications, operations & maintenance, and financial performance (both NAES Renewables and customer contracts and budgets) of their assigned customer portfolio and renewable assets.

Primary Duties

Execute the NAES Renewables financial plan and perform the budgeted financial model Understand all aspects of the NAES Renewables customer agreement(s) and successfully execute those obligations Maintain customer and contractual relationship with the portfolio / assets under the Client Managers responsibility Retention of both customer and contracted facilities, falling under the Client Managers responsibility 

Scope of Responsibilities (for customer contracts / facilities assigned to Client Manager)

Responsible for the customer relationship(s), on assigned accounts P&L responsibility for assigned facilities Responsible for contract renewals Responsible for the agreed upon customer facility budget and the execution for assigned assets Understand customer contractual obligations. Develop a strategy and successfully execute the financial and operational aspects of those obligations Proactively implement measures to improve customer’s facility production performance (financial/operational) Work collaboratively with the on-site Sr. Solar Site Manager to manage the assigned customer Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Master Service Agreements, Time and Material (T&M) additional services work orders, both financial and contractual Coordinate with other NAES departments and subsidiaries for services as may be requested by the customer (in and out of scope), including Grid Force, Energy Marketing, NAES NERC Compliance, PPO (Safety, Environmental, Maximo CMMS teams) Other duties as assigned

Working Relationships

The position reports to the VP, Asset Optimization & Management.  Will oversee and manage an administrative assistant.

Compensation:

The initial annual compensation will range from $127,100 - $146,200 based on experience and qualifications.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis. Years of Experience: 10 years of experience in utility scale renewable project/asset management, project controls, scheduling, contracts development and administration, technical operation and maintenance, energy marketings, and regulatory compliance. Experience with energy management concepts, financial analysis and contract administration, NERC and FERC regulatory compliance. Licenses/Certification: NABCEP certification (preferred) Valid Driver’s License Software/Equipment Knowledge: Microsoft Office Other Considerations: Excellent professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Detail orientated, able to effectively and timely handle multiple projects and priorities. Organized, self-orientated and customer service orientated. Able to coordinate and validate monthly and YTD customer production & maintenance reporting as defined in customer agreements.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

This is a hybrid/remote position with some travel required.  Scheduled work times will be Monday through Friday with normal working hours being 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time. These hours may be modified to adjust to the customer portfolio needs. Flexibility, additional hours, and weekends may be required to meet business needs.

Fit for Duty

All employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. This program includes a post-offer physical examination and drug screening and post-employment random drug screening. There are extensive smoking restrictions in and around the facility.
