**Your day at NTT DATA**
The Senior Client Project / Program Manager is an advanced subject matter expert responsible for leading and directing multiple concurrent client projects, classified as standard or complex, while ensuring their successful delivery. This role often involves managing large-scale programs that span multiple business areas, geographies, and technologies, requiring a deep understanding of project and program management frameworks, including Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary interface for all stakeholders, taking projects from original concept through final implementation, including seamless handover to operations (whether internal or the client’s support teams).
• Manage projects and programs within complex client environments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and client expectations.
• Lead and oversee the delivery of multiple interrelated projects within a program, achieving business objectives while ensuring that strategic benefits are transitioned to the client organization.
• Collaborate and engage with senior client stakeholders, including those involved in program delivery, to ensure alignment with the client’s vision and objectives.
• Apply Agile frameworks, including SCRUM, to enhance team collaboration, adaptability, and delivery speed. Serve as a mentor for Agile practices, promoting continuous improvement and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, ensuring that the team remains focused on goals and delivers incremental value.
• Utilize SCRUM expertise to manage cross-functional teams effectively, drive transparency, and ensure alignment with the Agile manifesto principles.
• Support scaled Agile implementations across larger programs, leveraging methodologies such as SAFe to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders effectively.
**What you'll be doing**
**Key Responsibilities**
• Lead and manage multiple concurrent standard or complex projects. For program management, oversee related projects aligned with strategic objectives.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of projects, from concept initiation to final implementation, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing client expectations and escalations effectively.
• Deliver projects/programs in alignment with the as-sold solution, ensuring they stay within baselined budgets and meet quality and timeline requirements.
• Rigorously manage project scope, control changes, and oversee comprehensive risk and issue documentation.
• Establish and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Provide pre-sales support by collaborating with sales teams to scope, estimate costs, and develop proposals, including presenting the delivery approach during client pitches and tender processes.
• Identify new opportunities and influence sales by articulating the organization’s consulting and technical services offerings in strategic client conversations.
• Coordinate and delegate tasks across project teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and task prioritization.
• Promote adherence to Agile practices, including SCRUM, across teams to enhance delivery efficiency and adaptability.
• Perform other related tasks as needed, contributing to the organization’s overall objectives.
**Knowledge and Attributes**
• **Advanced Project Management Expertise** : Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute projects/programs from initiation to completion.
• **Agile and SCRUM Proficiency** : Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, including SCRUM, with certifications like CSM, SAFe, or equivalent preferred.
• **Stakeholder Engagement** : Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• **Client Satisfaction and Escalation Management** : Track record of managing client expectations to ensure high satisfaction levels, with the ability to resolve escalations effectively.

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**
• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field.
• PMP certification is required.
• Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
• ITIL certification is beneficial.
**Required Experience**
• Advanced demonstrated experience in project and program management, ideally in a multinational professional services environment.
• Proven expertise in Agile and SCRUM practices, with the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Extensive experience in client engagement, balancing stakeholder expectations with business priorities.
• Advanced understanding of the project/program life cycle, including scope, cost, schedule management, and risk mitigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects while adhering to change management best practices.
• Strong track record of managing project teams and driving successful delivery in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
