POSITION SUMMARY:

Overmyer Hall Associates is seeking to add a Senior Client Specialist to their Commercial Lines team! The Senior Client Specialist will provide professional and operational support to commercial lines clients and OHA associates, with a focus on excellent customer service, teamwork and career development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communicate with OHA associates, clients and carriers via phone and email to provide answers to questions or concerns relevant to commercial lines policies and productsInvestigate and resolve issues in a timely and thorough manner seeking help from OHA associates, carriers and other resources as neededDocument all communication and activity accurately and timely per Overmyer Hall Associates proceduresAccurately review and compare carrier quote worksheets, terms and conditionsCoordinate policy expirations with OHA associates to obtain and process renewal informationCreate new and renewal certificates of insurance templates in CSR24, ensuring accuracy of policy detail and attachmentsProcess complex certificates of insurance and contract reviewsProcess policies, cancellations, audits and endorsementsPrepare and update renewal proposals and summariesComplete policy application details for newly bound policies into EpicQuote, bind and issue flood policies and assist with flood renewalsResponsible for agency billing, including creating premium allocations & renewals and following up on cancellations and billing issuesAttend and participate in carrier and client meetingsParticipate in applied user group online forums and education for latest trends in Epic and CSR24Pursue and maintain professional insurance designations as recommended by OHAPerform all other duties as assigned by Commercial Client Specialist Supervisor and/or Commercial Lines Operations Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

2-3 Years of Commercial Insurance experience and knowledge of commercial insurance and products requiredOhio Property and Casualty license requiredProfessional designations are preferredCollege degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is requiredStrong understanding and comfort using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Existing knowledge of Applied Epic is preferredProficient at navigating multiple carrier websites and online rating platformsStrong customer service, organization and time management skillsStrong decision making and problem-solving skills

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: High school or equivalent
