We accept that doing things right takes time, effort and a committed focus on our client’s experience.Responsibilities: Supervise tree crew while working hands-on in the tree, performing all primary tree care services including pruning, technical rigging, removals, cabling, and bracing.Support your crew by working hands-on doing ground activities as needed including stump grinding, tree planting, hauling brush, chipping and clean up.Ensure that tree care work is performed in accordance with ANSI and company standards.Have experience or be willing to learn how to effectively operate an aerial lift as needed for improved access, safety, and productivity.Be familiar with industry safety standards and be willing to enforce these standards as well as other company safety policies. Examples include Preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for each job, always ensuring proper PPE usage, and proper job site setup using cones, chocks, signs, etc.Morning job review (planning and prep materials and trucks), client walk-throughs, payment collection, online timesheets, managing daily production and profitability goals.Qualifications: A clean valid Driver’s License is absolutely 100% REQUIRED. NO EXCEPTIONS! 3+ years’ experience leading, mentoring and training a residential / commercial tree crew. Leadership qualities include strong character, humility, willingness to learn, ability to coach, always on-time, polite, respectful of others, self-motivated, committed to excellence.Drawn to a company that focuses on Safety, Quality, Attitude, and Accountability.Excellent communication and leadership skills. Prior experience training employees is preferred as we promote from within. A commitment to self-improvement ensures our team’s ongoing and future success.Communicate effectively with clients (current scope of work plus additional opportunities). Professional appearance and attitude while demonstrating excellent customer service skills. ISA Certification or CTSP is desired but not required (We will help you get either of these).Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test including random testing throughout the year.Must be able to perform physical labor at a moderate to high difficulty for 40-60 hours per week.Compensation:We offer competitive wages commensurate with experience and crew leadership.W2 Hourly with Overtime ($28-$35/hour).1-week Paid Time Off (after 90 days).8 Paid Holidays (after 90 days).Year-round employment.Training and Career Advancement opportunities.Come help us grow so that we can add Health Care, Vision and 401K in the near future.You are applying for work with a franchisee of Monster Tree Service, not Monster Franchising SPE, LLC or any of its affiliates.
