In this pivotal role, you will serve as a Senior Clinical Information Specialist on a team developing highly specialized clinical initiatives and programs, impacting long-term goals and objectives that support the remarkable vision of Ontada.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, design, and optimize complex clinical content according to guidelines and timelines provided by national references (ex. CMS, NCCN, AJCC, etc.), internal departments (USON, USOR, etc.), and customer-specific needs.Configure, install, and maintain complex processes that manage technical and scientific information.Operate independently to implement clinical and technical requirements defined by Product and Clinical Content Services Leadership to support clinical initiatives for the business.Support the design and management of system integrations, set up data analysis processes, and provide clinical technical support.Provide guidance in establishing policies and procedures for managing information and related systems.Cross‐train team members on areas of technical expertise.Validate decision support content releases

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Education

4-year degree or equivalent work experience

Critical Skills

7+ years’ experience in clinical/healthcare field; clinical and/or pharmacy experience required.Possess higher level of critical thinking in the implementation of the content and data according to standard policy with terminology such as CPT, HCPCS, HL7, ICD-10, LOINC, and SNOMEDUnderstands the use of Clinical Information Systems for documentation of patient care delivery and billingCollaborates with customers and other departments to support company initiatives (e.g., data migration)Ability to lead a team to develop and maintain content to support company business processes and initiativesDevelops and maintains organized documentation and shares information with team members

Additional Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of computer system software components, (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Windows)Able to think critically, logically, and independentlyAbility to teach new processes and policies to othersAttention to detailUnderstanding of and capability to write requirements (operational and functional)Proven communication skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization.Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills and abilitiesHealth field related certifications or degrees preferredClinical professional certification preferred

Your Work Environment 

10% travel within USA will be required.All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA. Current or future sponsorship is not available for this role.Relocation benefits will not be provided for this role.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$130,400 - $217,400
