SUMMARY OF JOB This position assists the Regional Director, Clinical Operations, Home Care with the fiscal management, personnel management, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of Home Care services, product lines and programs. Assists Regional Director with day-to-day patient care delivery and operational activities for PA and NJ provider offices. Assumes 24-hour accountability for operational functions and the direction of multidisciplinary patient care teams. Assists the Regional Director with developing operational plans, developing, monitoring and overseeing budgets and interacting with staff and other departments to accomplish organizational goals. In addition, this position fulfills the role of alternate Director of Nursing, and functions as liaison in the community, representing the organization to external agencies. Acts as a resource to staff, clinical managers and various departments to ensure efficiency in clinical operations. A primary way staff connect to our mission is by collaborating with all team members in promoting an environment that provides quality, compassionate, holistic, patient-centered care and supports all internal and external customers RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS BSN or Bachelor’s in health-related field required 5 years progressive supervision/ management experience in healthcare or community health Minimum 3 years of experience in a home health setting Knowledge of reimbursement and regulatory issues regarding home care Demonstrated understanding of compliance with local, federal and regulatory body requirements. Proven computer Excellent customer service skills and positive leadership Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to act Willing to promote the mission and values of the Sisters of the Redeemer Ability to function in a rapidly changing health care Able to travel to all HRHS entities and to patients’ homes within service Ability to demonstrate professional procedures in the home care Ability to work flexible hours, with holidays and weekends LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: Current PA/NJ Professional License, Valid Driver’s License, CPR Certified
