As a Senior Clinical Consultant – Central Region working on the Hematology team, you will be empowered to provide clinical and professional expertise to internal and external customers. In this role, you will contribute to Takeda’s mission by interacting with clinicians, consumers and advocacy organizations on clinical practice, therapy, policies and plans. A typical day will include:

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Implements consulting strategies, as dictated by needs of the business and marketplace, through collaboration with the sales account team to accomplish business objectives.Conducts customer needs analysis and develops strategies to resolve customer issues.Develops customer partnerships through development and implementation of product utilization, and therapy educational programs.Provides health education to key Takeda accounts. Plans and implements educational seminars and training programs on key clinical, product, therapy, educational resources and disease state related topics geared towards clinicians in in the Central region focusing on Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and the Florida PanhandleConducts patient/caregiver outreach and educational programs. Serves as a primary educator and consultant to patients/caregivers and the hemophilia advocacy community on approximately 20 different disease state topics as well as the appropriate use of Takeda products and services to achieve business results for patient communities in the Central regionProvides customer feedback to Sales, Marketing and R&D teams on designing and improving new/existing products and customer utilization needs.Coordination/communication of activities and identification of issues across all teams that interface with internal and external customer to address issues within assigned responsibilities.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Bachelors or advanced degree Registered nurse or Nurse practitioner with five plus years of experienceHemophilia and bleeding disorder treatment center experience preferred.Strong English written and verbal communication and presentation skillsAnalytical and problem-solving capabilityAbility to develop educational programs and tools. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members, customers and internal and external employees at all levels.Candidate must reside in the Central region in one of the following states; Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee or the Florida Panhandle.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel required 50%, including nights and week-ends.
