The Sr. Clinical Technologist serves as clinical expert in their credentialed modality in an assigned territory. Daily patient interaction through scan administration. Ensures effective communication with the customer including radiologists as needed. Assists with ACR process, Physicist Testing, clinical competencies and other clinical tasks.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Performs clinical scans and responsible for patient safety. Scan time may range from 80% to 100%.
Completes New Hire and Annual Clinical Assessments.
Assists with day to day unit operations.
Supports unit audits, ACR accreditation activities, and Joint Commission preparedness.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Associate's degree or Certificate from College or Technical School in Radiology/Nuclear Medicine or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
3 years of scanning experience preferred.
CPR Certification.
State licensed in the modalities supported, if applicable.
Valid state drivers license, as applicable.

Ability to work at several locations.
Strong customer service skills.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
Job may require 10% of local travel.

Physical Requirements:
The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee may be exposed to a strong magnetic field or radioactive material, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
