JOB SUMMARY
Primary responsibility for supporting the sales function by performing tasks related to sales contracts processing and closing. To include working with personnel at the community, internal and external customers to assist in preparation of closing documents and contracts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attend backlog and community team meetingsInput sales contracts, addendums, and change orders into computer software for trackingVerify the accuracy and completeness of all contracts and change orders submitted. Verify approval signature and process depositsAfter release, input dates and issues buyer closing lettersMaintain files and distribute contracts and change ordersMaintain the problem log for contracts with discrepanciesAudit files to ensure complete and prepare Seller's Terms for Escrow/Title companiesWork closely with Sales, Mortgage and Title company to schedule closing and resolve issues to facilitate closingAudits closing figures and/or reviews outside title documentsCoordinate with Construction and Sales departments the scheduling of all requirements for a timely walk and closeManage close dates in PHD and Buyer Tracker, coordinate with Construction and PMC to ensure consistency across all platformsProcess cancellations and deposits for refund or retentionManage Broker payments throughout the year and provide accurate reporting to National Financial Services team for 1099 reportingAssists with other division tasks as assigned


MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mentors, trains and supports new and existing closing coordinators providing feedback and coaching to drive consistency in settlement process across the divisionAssumes leadership role in proactive process improvement and supports best place to work culture at the division level

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalentNotary Public preferred, not required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

(Work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.)

Related functional experience: minimum of 3+ years in Contracts or Closing experience, preferably in the homebuilding industryStrong knowledge of accounting principles, contract laws, and Microsoft Office softwareAbility to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demandsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision with a demonstrated ability to make decisionsStrong problem resolution skills

PAY RANGE:

$29.95 - $37.45 per hourHired applicant will be eligible to receive incentives
