About this opportunity 

 

We are looking to find a  Senior Engineer (Java, JavaScript, Python) to lead the team who deliver Ericsson Intelligent Automation Platform (EIAP) developer portal. You will provide direction and guidance on software design, promote cloud native engineering practices, bug prevention strategies and advanced quality concepts to help our customers, partners and internal Ericsson development teams achieve new heights of efficiency, velocity, and effectiveness.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help creating innovative tools and solutions via the portal to solve some of the toughest challenges related to helping developers create world-class Apps. These solutions enable our customers’ development teams to innovate and deliver Apps with confidence.

What you will do 

 

Work directly with our EIAP development teams to aid them deliver an excellent experience to our customers Be able to quickly troubleshoot and bottom-out issues, suggest workarounds for our users and work with them until completion of the issue Quickly produce a working proof-of-concept or examples in code to aid developers overcome roadblocks Highlight issues with our developer tooling & experience and be the voice that prioritises these to benefit our developer community  Evangelise best practices for using our portal and communityYou will bring 6+ years of hands on development experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python3+ years of experience in microservices design 2+ years of previous experience in technical as well as people leadership and mentoringExperience in system architecture and comprehensive background in Cloud technology Experience with monitoring and observability including automated alerting around SLO’s A good knowledge of system reliability engineering including high availability systems A passion to eliminate toil work through automation A desire to continually improve the systems you work with
