The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team of technical and functional experts supporting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Headquarters, Chief Technology Officer Directorate (CTOD), Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology (AI/ET) initiative. This team works with a federal workforce staff with technical expertise for the smooth functioning of high-visibility, department-wide AI initiatives.
Ideal candidates will possess a robust technical background, with a deep understanding of the technologies involved in delivering cloud capabilities and tools with extensive experience in transforming these tools into operational capabilities. Candidates demonstrating significant expertise in developing and deploying Generative AI (GenAI) solutions, coupled with exceptional project management skills, are highly desirable. A strong passion for AI technologies and a proven track record in planning and executing pilot programs should be clearly highlighted in the resume.
This is a remote work eligible position.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDevelop performance metrics based on customer requirements; provide assessments and recommendations to senior leadershipCollaborate with matrixed functional and technical experts to plan, organize, and direct activities for all assigned projects to achieve project goals.Provide support across multiple AI Corps Department-wide projects including, but not limited to Artificial Intelligence Task Force projects and pilots, Generative AI, emerging technology research and planning. May support projects related to Facial Recognition/Face Capture and Language Translation and TranscriptionAssist with meeting management and logistics support relevant to the AI Corps to include drafting topic ideas; supporting coordination and routing agendas.Participate in working group sessions on relevant study topics, interviews with relevant stakeholders, drafting analytic summaries, and make recommendations for working group reports.Assist in development of informational products for internal and external stakeholders in the form of fact sheets, reports, memos, and recommendations as necessary.Assist in development of briefings for internal and external audiences, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines and policies. Conduct research and provide analytical support, conduct analysis and draft recommendations in support of AI Corps prioritiesProduce project deliverables based on the full scope of the Statement of Work (SOW)Ensure awareness and understanding of overall program status including risks, strategic options, and decisions for resolution by all relevant stakeholders. Provide thought leadership to drive customer mission priorities and program success.Bring a collaborative, team-centric attitude and enthusiasm that encourages outreach and partnership. Stay current with the latest advancements in AI technologies, tools, and best practices.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
