The team
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our growing team in Cloud Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure core services, strong experience in cloud security, and a proven track record in implementing solutions for cloud-based infrastructure.
The role
Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud solutions, leveraging core Azure services such as Azure Virtual Network, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, and Storage Accounts. Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (AD), including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), Conditional Access Policies, and Identity Management to ensure secure access to resources. Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform for provisioning and managing Azure resources in a scalable and automated manner. Automate cloud management using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Implement security controls using Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud to ensure secure cloud environments and protect sensitive data. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues, including network, resource, and performance issues within the Azure environment, ensuring optimal functionality. Monitor cloud resources and services using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure systems are performing as expected and to detect potential issues before they impact business operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements, security policies, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001). Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies by implementing the necessary security measures and best practices in Azure. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate closely with teams in an Agile environment to drive successful project delivery. Contribute to the optimization and automation of cloud infrastructure to improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. What you’ll bring
