Your Impact
In this role, you'll lead observability and diagnostic initiatives for our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, resolve complex customer issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems.
Your key contributions will include:
Designing and implementing observability frameworks for logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing. Developing advanced diagnostics tools to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges. Leading incident management, ensuring swift detection, analysis, and resolution of critical issues. Driving automation initiatives to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual overhead. Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, SRE, or DevOps with a strong focus on observability and diagnostics. 2+ years of experience in cloud technologies and Linux environments. Previous experience in observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack).Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in incident management and resolution. Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Expertise in diagnosing complex systems and conducting root cause analysis. Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet and cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).WeAreCisco
