ManTech seeks a highly skilled and knowledgeable  **Senior** **Cloud Engineer** that is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a hybrid cloud environment that will satisfy the client’s operational mission needs. This position is located on customer site in **Washington D.C** . **Responsibilities:** + Develop strategies for cloud-based platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) that will maximize the program’s operations and enhance efficiency using hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, and Oracle clouds). Translate business needs into long-term cloud architecture solutions. + Guide cloud development practices to optimize resources, govern cloud spending, andreduce inefficiency and waste in cloud migrations and operations. + Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and patch virtual switches, etc. in the cloud layer. + Enable the CI/CD, DevSecOps, low code/no code, and infrastructure as code (IaC) platforms in a cloud environment for the program. + Lead the design, development, and management of the underlying cloud infrastructure, such as virtual machines, storage, and networking components using hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, and Oracle clouds). + Lead engineer to facilitate the program’s development and deployment of cloud-native applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and security. + Ensure NIST compliant security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the cloud environment. **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline. + 15+ years of IT experience with 12+ years of cloud experience. + 2+ years of experience working in a program using Agile (SAFe, Scrum and Kanban) and DevSecOps methods. + Possess Azure solutions architect certification and Posses an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certificate. + Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and Azure to include Azure DevOps platform / tools and Azure network and security tools and services. + Experience in automation and server-less solution architecting development. + Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on security. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Preferred experience working with Oracle cloud solutions such as Apex. **Security Clearance Requirements:** + Must possess a current/active Top Secret Security Clearance **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. + The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
