How will you make an impact in this role?

The Cloud product manager of enterprise cloud product will be part of broader enterprise cloud technology office cloud roadmap and delivery. This role will help achieving the primary outcomes of the multi cloud strategy including better agility, innovation, and economics for all technology teams. 

This technical product manager role will help define, document and drive enterprise cloud roadmap to deliver solutions that standardize and automate cloud platform services across multiple clouds in partnership with broader enterprise cloud and Amex teams to bring best developer experience. 

The position requires the ability to work independently, develop thought leadership and gain buy-in across stakeholders. A successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment filled with ambiguity and competing demands. 

Requirements

Drives the defined enterprise cloud product vision, strategy, roadmap, goals; develop requirements and evangelize to stakeholders and peers to gain alignment and engagement. Establishes the strategic approach for the management and monitoring of a product based on broad functional goals. Responsible for prioritization of features and capabilities. Reviews the identified technical problems and solutions delivered by the team. Accountable for accurate and timely identification of risks, issues and changes required for their products. Contributes to department strategy and goals. Leads in conducting research and analysis, understands the competitive landscape and the industry environment. Develops operational strategies as they relate to research and analysis. Develops highly complex recommendations for product enhancements for their respective products. Owning key stakeholder relationships across journey experience, compliance, engineering, program management and leadership team. Create product related awareness and marketing materials and evangelize the product and product strategy. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and product team members on a day-to-day basis to define and implement roadmaps for enterprise cloud. Collaborate with partner teams (Information Security for example) to understand the requirements and integrate into the roadmaps/sprints/releases. Establish feedback loop with customers to incorporate product enhancements to increase cloud platform services adoption. Be a promoter of the Cloud platform services to the American Express community and put continuous measures to increase Customer Net Promoter Score

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Product Management driving cloud infrastructure services product delivery. BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, MBA a plus Experience building enterprise scale technical product requirements and delivery of public cloud services in  GCP and AWS. Technical experience and good understanding in Kubernetes, Serverless, Databases, compute, network, storage, security, and observability tools in GCP or AWS. Understanding of application development ecosystem across several languages (Java, .NET, Go, Python, etc.) and ability to drive the developer requirements across cloud product services. Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools integration with cloud services Distill a complex set of requirements into defined deliverables. Explain complex concepts in a way that enables the team to understand what they are doing and why. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Strong communicator with results-driven attitude Experience with agile methodology to drive software development and delivery. Competent in using data-driven processes/tools for decision making.  At the core of Software Engineering, every member of our team should be able to demonstrate the following technical, functional, leadership and business skills you'll use every day, including: Agile Practices Business Analysis Analytical Thinking Cloud Infrastructure Product Knowledge

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
