Department OverviewOur MSI CTO Systems and Solutions team consists of multiple standalone agile teams working on and developing emerging solutions and business-aligned projects. We develop and integrate video solutions, analytics features, and sensor systems for more streamlined operations while bringing to life innovative end-to-end products and integrating Motorola Solutions and 3rd party systems via cloud-based connectors.
Job Description

The Ecosystem Connections Team is responsible for building seamless integrations between Motorola Solution products internally and externally to 3rd party platforms.  As a software developer, you will be actively involved in the entire software lifecycle, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of both front-end interfaces and back-end services.

Basic Requirements

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills:

C#, C++, Java, Javascript, .NET framework

Experience with microservice design and development

Experience with various database types and database tools (MongoDB, DynamoDB, CosmosDB)

Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.

Experience with NodeJS, Angular, Flutter, Vue or React 

Familiar with defining and implementing robust APIs (REST)

Familiarity with Web Automation test tools

Familiarity with Redis is a plus.

Working experience with modern full-stack CI/CD toolchain and Test automation concepts 

Knowledge of mixed WebApp development is a definite asset

Strong Understanding of API concepts and OS-level virtualization using both Docker and Kubernetes

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering or Science 

Must have 3+ years in a technical position with working experience
