Senior CMT Coordinator

C.H. Robinson is looking for a dedicated Senior CMT Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary contact for regional contract management teams, ensuring the accuracy and validity of ocean contracts and rates. You will manage the documentation and maintenance of all CMT carrier processes, acting as the subject matter expert for contract-related issues. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Collaborate with CMT Team members to review, and execute various contracts and agreements between C.H. Robinson and our carriers
+ Ability to comprehend rates and surcharges from various ocean carriers with multiple trade lanes
+ Inquire when carrier instructions or details are different from CMT teams’ guidance
+ Ensure contracts meet legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements per internal processes and procedures
+ Responsible for updating the AMD’s in the OBM while validating discrepancies with the CMT teams
+ Maintain base rates, surcharges and amendments in the OBM
+ Maintain most up-to-date contracts in internal system
+ Create and document carrier SOP’s
+ Drive areas for improvement related to C.H. Robinson’s contract processes and workflows
+ Develop, maintain and manage processes related to contracts submission, documentation, review, and retention i.e. all forms, templates, terms
+ Collect and maintain company contracts, approvals, signatures, and related documents
+ Lead general team initiatives, including special projects as necessary
+ Coach and train team members
+ Builds great relationships with internal teams, responding timely and following up on issue resolution
+ Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with Customers/teams, CHR offices, and carriers
+ Act as a key contact and subject matter expert
+ Lead by example and act as a resource and expert to the department and network on contract requirements & process initiatives
+ Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Site Specific: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum 4 years pricing and contract management experience
Preferred:
+ Previous ocean modal or ocean pricing experience
+ Strong negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills
+ Strong verbal and written communication and multi-tasking skills, including excellent project and meeting management
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products
+ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently while collaborating on multiple subjects
+ Ability to lead and manage without direct authority
+ Identify and escalate issues when needed
+ Strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others
+ Confidence operating independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
+ Experience working in a professional, corporate setting, where strong communication skills are necessary
+ Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
