The position of the Senior Programmer is responsible for investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities related to manufacturing issues, and customer claims.  This role uses Key Performance Indicators to determine the processes/products that require improvement using Problem Solving Techniques for continuous improvement and is also responsible for ensuring processes and procedures are defined and implemented to provide assurance to ECI, customers, and regulatory agencies that RegO products are manufactured to the high level of quality they come to expect.           

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Develop Inspection and Test Plans for changed products, assist in the creation of PFMEAs and Controls Plans for new products including MSA’s. Review attribute characteristics and determine if appropriate for intended use. Accuracy and maintenance of product inspection records and equipment calibrations. Investigate and analyze non-conforming materials for root cause using problem solving techniques.  Also work with appropriate personnel for implementation and validation of effective correction action.  Responsible for 8D/SCAR records. Foster awareness of ECI quality standards, procedures, and work instructions and provide training as needed. Liaison to Customer Auditors and Regulatory Agency auditors (i.e. UL, ASME, TUV, etc) Coordinate Internal Audits to ensure compliance to ECI quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.

 

 

 REQUIREMENTS:

 

B.S in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to objectively review, analyze, and interpret data
