Senior Collections Associate

Hybrid Workspace: Two Days Onsite, Three Days Remote

As Worldpay grows, our need for a skilled and seasoned collection team grows. Being a player in the payments processing industry requires a savvy team of experts who can easily navigate delinquent accounts in accordance with departmental, investor, and legal guidelines, ensuring attainment of company goals.

 

**This role is hourly plus a monthly incentive plan!**

What you will be doing:

Resolve delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g., skip-tracing, written correspondence, inbound/outbound phone contact (standard/ automated dialer), and making arrangements for paymentMonitor the aging of customer receivables and takes corrective action to resolve open accounts receivable balances on a timely basisResolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing/settlementSubmit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progressSupport other accounting positions as the need arisesWork independently and manage a workload that contains time-sensitive tasks, which means you’ll also have to manage and prioritize problems effectively while contributing to overall team goal achievementUpdate customer files to ensure data integrityEnsure the processing of paymentsDocument all customer payments to the right reportsOther duties as assigned by the manager


What you bring:

High school diploma or GED requiredPrior collections experienceBusiness-to-business (B2B) experience desiredTechnical skills including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Billing/Collections software preferredGreat verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a persuasive and professional mannerIntermediate computer navigation and operation skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentDemonstrate effective people skills and sensitivities when dealing with others
