Senior Collections Coordinator

Overview

Supports the company's cash flow objectives and customer service expectations of excellence by managing the assigned collection portfolio in an advanced manner.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for the fast-paced collectionsResponsible to maintain acceptable aging levelsManage collection notes on an advanced levelWorks with internal teams and customers to perform Root Cause Analysis on past due accountsAccountable to meet with manager weekly to discuss performance metricsWorks with differing teams and team members to resolve invoice disputesDetermines the frequency and type of collection activity to be initiated against past-due customersĀ Develops written procedures and contacts to support collection process on assigned portfolio accounts and ensures appropriate collection activities are followed in sequenceWorks closely with Customers, Sales, Customer Service, Admins, Service Centers, and Operations as requiredWork in Sales Force, Excel, Service Now, Axapta, WinSoft Great Plains, Word, and EmailMaintain strong partnerships with internal and external customers by understanding and responding to customer needs and requirements for billing and payment execution.

Experience

Minimum 5 years Business to Business collections experience requiredExperience in handling high dollar portfolios and highly visible transactionsExperience tracking and resolving issues core issues

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to exercise tact and discretion when handling confidential information is a requirementProven understanding the collections role plays in the timing of cash flow managementProven understanding of excellence in customer serviceComputer literate with Microsoft Excel and Word at the Intermediate LevelMust be able to negotiate payment terms most favorable to TDW while maintaining customer loyaltyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal
