**I. Job Summary**
Researches account activity and resolves accounts through contact with customers demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role will be expected to support policies, procedures and change initiatives as needed by management. The Sr Collector will provide a more analytical approach to portfolio management for their customer base in addition to handling escalated calls.
**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
+ Initiates telephone and/or email contact with customers and cross functional teams, arranging for collection or account resolution
+ Resolves collection disputes across areas; makes inquiries, researches account information, and follows-up with both internal and external customers.
+ Maintains records of credit risk, accounts by logging activity in systems of record and reporting
+ Responds to email / telephone communications from customers and investigate inquiries
+ Investigates payment habits and schedules of clients across multiple segments and business units
+ Works independently to establish portfolio management strategies.
+ Works reconciliation of customer records by engaging customer and internal constituents to work the open issue(s) to resolution.
+ Review, interpret, and clearly describe the terms and conditions of contracts

**IV. Qualifications**
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
+ Experience: Four (4) years experience in collections, preferably in a business to business setting.
+ National Accounts Collector experience preferred.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

The expected base pay range for this (office, hybrid) position is $26.25- $28.00/ hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
