Senior Commercial Counsel

Department: Legal & Compliance 

Reports To: Senior Director, Legal 

Location: New York City 

Responsibilities:

Manage a high volume of commercial contracts including Master Services Agreements, SOWs, Service Level Agreements, Orders Forms, and NDAs. Negotiate against Fortune 100 companies Conduct products and marketing reviews. Work closely with sales to draft contracts for incoming customers Collaborate with the Legal and Compliance team and cross-functional business teams.

What You Will Bring:

Licensed attorney in New York, or ability to obtain in-house corporate counsel registration.  6+ years’ experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating SAAS and other commercial software and technology agreements in-house or with a nationally recognized law firm  Experience in negotiating for or against multinational large corporations in the technology area Experience analyzing risks of contractual terms related to certain technology Experience in intellectual property and data privacy is preferred. The anticipated salary range for this role is $165,000 - $175,000 plus company bonus and stock options. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
