Job DescriptionAccountable for a variety of complex deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a large scale projects Manages the resources across a portfolio of projects, all within the established budgetsAccountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understoodMonitors and manages the performance of direct reportsResponsible timely cash collection in compliance with contract termsResponsible for ensuring that any additional work/changes in scope are approved by clientsEnsures all deliverables comply with the PDS.Reviews and responds to contractors claims in accordance with the provisions of the Conditions of Contract and ensure the Clients interests are protectedProvides direct liaison with the Client project team.Reviews the contracts and commercial reportsRepresents the clients/AECOM in dispute resolutions/arbitration procedures.Develop and implement procurement strategies for all project packages.

QualificationsGood working knowledge of FIDIC suite of contracts.Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk.Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.Experience of working as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teamsExperience of working within a client organization, either directly or through a co-location/secondment arrangement would be of benefitA clear work history and proof of professional development and learningPrior line-management experience

Preferred Qualifications :

Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost ManagementProfessionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
