Job SummaryProvides a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment through cleaning and general maintenance under the direction of a supervisor. Independently performs preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various building systems. Assists the department in achieving safety, quality, cost, on-time delivery and continuous improvement metrics and acts as a source of expertise for the department. Participates in the overall building management program to provide high-quality, cost-effective service with a high emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Essential FunctionsCommunicates and collaborates with the supervisor, customer, and other trades and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely, cost effective maintenance with continuity and coordination of services.
Performs expert level finishing work including: painting (roller, brush, and spray applications), vinyl wallpaper repair, staining and application of other finishes to decorate and protect interior surfaces. Prepares and finishes walls and surface areas, restores damaged wood and metal doors, and does Finisher related items using hand and power tools. Inspects and tests the finished work of Associate Finisher and provides mentoring and work direction as needed.
Documents procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensures proper care, maintenance and safe use of equipment and supplies and keep work areas orderly, clean and safe.
Ensures that all finisher services are provided in accordance with legal specifications, building codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements.
Plans and coordinates work flow with other trades and acts as resource related to building systems.

5 years of relevant experience Industry experience with two years within a healthcare setting.
