Senior Communications Consultant
**Company** Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis The Sr. Communications Consultant will report directly to the Senior Manager of Employee Communications in EECC. This person provides comprehensive support for the St. Louis Fed’s primary employee communications vehicle (SL8 intranet site) and requires skills and talents that are critical to EECC’s relationship manager program, which is central to the division’s goal to be a trusted advisor in service to its clients. This position serves as a strategic partner for the Bank’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion office and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), with responsibility for consulting and executing on their portfolio of communications needs. The position requires a diverse set of relationship, project management, technical and critical thinking skills that combine to solidify strategic partnerships, thus enabling EECC to communicate messages clearly and effectively to Bank employees. **Responsibilities** + Serve in an elevated role as relationship manager, communications liaison and trusted advisor for assigned Bank departments, organizational areas of focus, employee groups and other internal partners. + Manage and consult on strategic and tactical communications to help achieve an entire portfolio of business goals for assigned areas. Advocate for the client and EECC by identifying and improving work process efficiencies. + Serve as project manager for communication projects and campaigns, including defining objectives, managing the planning process, requesting resources, scheduling, communicating, producing project deliverables and measuring outcomes. + Manage the execution of projects including delivery through SL8 coverage, videos, digital signage, email blasts, live employee events and printed materials. + As part of function of the first task: Inform and engage employees by providing comprehensive storytelling services to internal partners, including researching, writing, editing and publishing original content. + Communicate major Bank initiatives and complex information to a District-wide audience through stories for SL8 and other channels as appropriate. + Maintain and enhance an engaging internal website (SL8) for St. Louis Fed employees by overseeing strategy related to the site’s information architecture, content management and user experience. + Coordinate planning, overseeing and refining information architecture while managing all technical aspects of the site daily, including hands-on coding and content creation and management. + Manage content updates to department and other subsites, pages, navigation, forms, images and videos. Advocate on behalf of site users by leading efforts to improve the user experience through contributing to content design and strategy. + Collaborate with technology and design partners to research, design, plan, document, test and deploy improvements to SL8. + Lead and contribute to special projects and executive, external and contingency communications, as needed. **Qualifications** + B.A., B.S. or other business administration, marketing, communications, journalism, English or related field. + 10 years of related work experience. + Outstanding verbal, writing, communication skills· + Ability to create and maintain solid relationships with a diverse set of client partners· + Highly planful and organized + High levels of web/content management system technical expertise· + Flexibility and adaptability + Effectively manages ambiguity and conflict + DEI communications experience preferred + CMS (Content Management System) preferred. **Total Rewards** Bring your passion and expertise, and we'll provide the opportunities to challenge you and propel your growth—along with multiple benefits and perks that support your health, wealth, and life.
