Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist supporting the Strategic Communications Directorate of the United States Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC) Command Staff Support contract.
Salary RangeFull salary range for this position is $143,000 to $156,000 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed belowThe contractor:
will support future operations and long-term strategic planning efforts, managing multiple strategic events and functions that assist with Public Affairs Strategic Communication Activities.shall understand organizational business strategy, projects, research and stories to forecast, plan, and craft both short and long-term integrated communication campaigns.shall offer ideas on how to and will work to leverage all available communication channels to execute communication campaigns across multiple platforms (conferences, in-office events, media relations, social media, website, articles, videos, etc.shall ensure synchronization and integration of all strategic message planning efforts between HQ USSF, SSC, and any other applicable partner organizations to support planning efforts that feed into larger enterprise-wide activities.shall provide analysis and other assessments to ensure a quality product is presented that meets the intent of the tasking.shall research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on SSC activities, organization, missions, operations, and initiatives.shall be proficient in the production of video products and serve in a producer/director capacity ensuring video products are storyboarded, scripted appropriately, produced timely and meet industry level production standards.shall ensure products being released meet the intent of the customer and will be fact checked for accuracy.should be proficient with various software such as (Adobe Suite, Hootsuite, Microsoft), have an understanding of how to navigate Macintosh applications, and should be able to write and have an understanding with the Associated Press style of writing.shall coordinate with the Government to ensure consistency of messages for internal and external audiences. As necessary, the contractor shall perform additional research and provide recommendations on submissions from other staff activities to organize, balance, and apply a consistent sense of style, grammar, and flow to the finished product.shall be proficient in creating, suggesting, and arranging graphics to support products and materials required by Public Affairs.shall draft, review, coordinate, and process program acquisition point papers, briefings, articles, media releases, and other applicable strategic guidance and information with an eye toward long term strategic planning and future operations.will ensure all deliverable outcomes are suitable for public release to industry, media, trade publications, international partners, and other program stakeholders.shall not release any information without Government approval. Education, Requirements and QualificationsUS citizen with an active Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required.
Ten plus (10+) years of experience is required.
MA/MS degree is required.
Twelve (12) years' work experience may be subsituted for master's degreeBachelor's degree plus eight (8) years work experience may be substituted for a master's degree. Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsExample lifting in excess of 25 lbs, standing for long periods of time, traveling across base regularly, transporting equipment, etc.
