Senior Compensation Analyst
Under limited supervision, acts as lead compensation resource and participates in developing and administering compensation for GBMC to deliver compliant and competitive rewards programs that attract and retain outstanding talent.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required. Completion of basic Certified Compensation Professional Compensation (CCP) coursework preferred.
Experience:
5+ years compensation experience including job analysis, job evaluation, or other related business experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare experience preferred.

Comprehensive understanding of state, federal, and other statutory regulationsKnowledge of basic statistical principles and methodsProficient in job analysis and job evaluation techniquesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to research and explain complex problemsAbility to use a consultative approach to resolving compensation-related issuesAbility to establish and maintain good working relationships with HR Business Partners and ManagersEffective oral and written communicationsSkill in the use of database and spreadsheet applicationsAdvanced Excel skillsProficiency in HRIS and Payroll related functions

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 Researches and recommends compensation solutions on issues such as internal equity, recruitment, and retention. Independently conducts market pricing and benchmarking for appropriate pay recommendations and grade assignments.Acts as subject matter expert working with HR Business Partners and internal clients to address day-to-day operational pay administration issues.  Consults with all levels of management.Conducts and participates in national and local market salary surveys.Proactively conducts analysis to support budget planning on compensation budget, base salary, market adjustments, and merit adjustmentsParticipates in development and administration of merit pay programs, employee recognition & incentive programs and special pay programs.Participates in and/or leads special projects as assigned.Utilizes data analytics tools to evaluate compensation metrics and trends, preparing reports to support strategic decision-making by HR and executive leadership.Ensures all positions are classified correctly in accordance with Fair Labor Standards Act, and state and local laws and regulations.Serves as primary contact with Payroll and HRIS on compensation related issues. Prepares compensation uploads and retroactive increases for bi-weekly payroll including but not limited to employee recognition and special pay programs.Maintains and documents standard work for compensation administration.    Oversees maintenance of job descriptions and job codes.

Pay Range

$64,551.75 - $109,737.97

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
