SUMMARY

Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing current market trends, designing strategic costing models, and maintaining a competitive salary structure for team members and perspective candidates. Day-to-day responsibilities include salary recommendations, market pricing analysis, salary surveys, job classification changes, coordination of contract, bonus and stipend payments and ad hoc projects from the Director. Trains and reviews the work of peers.

ATTRIBUTES

Bachelor’s degree preferred in a Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Demonstrated analytical (critical thinking) skills are essential. Strong attention to detail required.Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all internal team members and external vendors.Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion required.Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain Job Descriptions. Verifies qualifications/licensure, FLSA requirements, and grading for appropriate job classification of job descriptions.Compensation Analysis. Performs job matches, completes compensation surveys and submits to survey vendor in a timely manner. Effectively uses critical thinking skills and attention to detail to conduct a thorough analysis of internal equity and affordability factors to make rate recommendations. •Implements rate changes and retro payments (as approved by leadership). Coordinates payment of contracts (typically for Physicians), stipends, and temporary assignments in association with Payroll.Business Analysis. Serves as a subject matter expert and communicates effectively with Business Partners, Recruitment, and leadership across RGHS.Reporting. Designs and maintains spreadsheet costing models to conduct various analytical tasks in an accurate and timely fashion. Maintains Compensation data files electronically. (i.e. Folders in Comp E-mail Box/Network Drive folders). Displays an understanding and skilled use of the various HRIS databases, web-based applications and general flow of system interfaces for processing purposes. (Web-based: Position Manager & Talent REWARD, HRIS: VMI & Cyborg). Implements title, job description and grade changes in all documents, tables and employee records.Market Analysis. Effectively uses critical thinking skills and attention to detail to conduct a thorough analysis of market values, affordability, and internal equity factors to make grade recommendations, often relying on inference as well as concrete resource materials.Team Leadership. Trains and reviews the work of peersCompliance and Auditing. Administers audits (as needed) on HR-related data in Cyborg and other associated programs to ensure accuracy and integrity.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
