Senior Compensation Analyst

Prysmian is seeking a Senior Compensation Specialist for the McKinney, Texas office. The Senior Compensation Specialist will perform a wide range of analytical, problem solving, and support activities in compensation. The role will use problem-solving and reasoning skills; and MS Office (such as Excel, Word, and Power Point) to accurately review, prepare and present information. The Senior Compensation Specialist serves as a subject-matter expert and will be knowledgeable on trends and best practices in compensation administration.

Responsibilities

Support the administration, coordination, and communication of compensation programs and projects.Support North America Compensation Manager during compensation cycles such as salary review process, short term incentives, long term incentives, and employee stock purchase.Analyze and interpret large data sets.Work with HR to respond to day-to-day compensation questions.Partner with the HR Technology team on compensation tools and technologies.Be solutions driven to create greater efficiencies and improved outcomes.Participate in compensation surveys, maintain survey vendor relationship.Evaluate and benchmark jobs against survey data to determine competitive compensation ranges.Respond to employee compensation questions and inquiries in a timely manner.Other duties as assigned.

Familiarity with compensation, employment law, HR, and various roles within organizations.Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.Excellent follow-up and problem resolution skills.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.Strong quantitative and analytical skills.Ability to manage priorities and workflow.Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines.Ability to work internally with HR, and with other business groups and employees.Ability to work with external vendors.

Required Background:

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business or other related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education & experience.5 years’ experience as Compensation Specialist/Analyst.Experience with Payroll and HRIS Software.Advanced MS Excel Skills.CCP certification required.PHR, SPHR certification a plus.
