What you will do
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Compensation Specialist (m,f,d) to join our HR governance team. This role will be instrumental in further enhancing, managing, and aligning governance framework and compensation strategies across our asset management subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and expertise in remuneration regulations, ensuring that all compensation programs are compliant, equitable, and competitive.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Alignment: Ensure compensation programs across our asset management entities align with our corporate governance standards and strategic objectives. Policy Oversight & Development: Draft and implement standardized compensation policies and procedures that align with governance requirements, application of remuneration regulations and industry best practices. Compensation Committee: Coordinate and support the preparation of the AAM Group Compensation Committee, including the global compensation review cycle and the yearly remuneration report Program Development & Strategy: Design and implement base salary, bonus, and long-term incentive plans that are consistent with the organization’s strategic and regulatory mandates. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all compensation practices comply with regulatory requirements, including local, and global compensation laws and regulations as well as governance codes. Market Analysis & Benchmarking: Lead competitive market analysis and benchmark surveys to support data-driven compensation decisions. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and subsidiary HR leaders, providing guidance on complex compensation matters and governance requirements. Act as a liaison between Allianz Group HR and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on governance and HR Policy matters. Equity and Incentive Programs: Oversee governance standards for equity-based compensation and incentive structures, carried interest programmes, ensuring proper alignment with performance metrics and long-term business goals. Data Analytics & Insights: Leverage advanced analytics to report on compensation trends, governance compliance, and program effectiveness to executive leadership and boards. Responsible for remuneration related regulatory reporting aspects of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for the asset management segment.
What you bring
University degree in business administration, Human Resources or other related disciplines At least 10 years of relevant work experience in Compensation discipline High level of integrity and demonstrated ability to manage confidential information Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to comfortably interact with people at all levels of the organization in an international environment Good understanding of external and internal governance structures Highly detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with a hands-on attitude Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills Fluent verbal and written communication skills in German and English Previous experience within asset management or banking is strongly desirable
