A Conference and Banqueting Senior Sales Executing – Planning, is responsible for the successful event sales and planning and overall execution of all Groups, Conference & Events that take place within the Hilton London Tower Bridge Hotel.

\n


What will I be doing?

\n

A Conference and Banqueting Senior Sales Executing – Planning, is responsible for the successful event sales and planning and overall execution of all Groups, Conference & Events that take place within the hotel. This position will interact frequently with customers and Guests to learn about their needs and develop relationships from which to earn repeat and expanded business.

\n

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nMaximise all Conference and Events revenue opportunities through upselling of function items\nReceive and convert incoming relevant enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue\nBuild strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs\nPlan conferences and events and prepare Banquet Event Orders for the Food and Beverage Operations Team. Ensure that all the information is accurate, confirmed and billing details documented and in line with the credit policy.\nMeet & greet nominated conference contact or organizer to check on their satisfaction and the setup of the meeting rooms on the day of the event.\nConduct Show rounds for companies & agents in line with the Company policy.\nSupport the Food & Beverage operations and room reservations team with information as required.\nHandle all client questions / requests as needed\nPrepare relevant invoices & final bills and liaise with clients accordingly.\nManage Group Masters post event to ensure full payment is received\nSupport the Conference and Banqueting Planning Manager and ensure Meeting & Events Team Members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts\nProviding on the Job Coaching / Training\nMaximising efficiencies through smarter use of the systems\nManage & Maintain Administrative tasks on FDC (conference and banqueting system) in line with property super-user\nTrack and maintain Upsell revenue based on targets given\nConduct customer surveys and gather feedback\nHandle complaints as needed and work in collaboration with Operations teams to resolve customer complaints\nAdhere to and comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures\n\n

\n\nDemonstrate excellent customer service and relations skills\nPrevious experience in a Conference and Banqueting function in the hotel/leisure sector\nExcellent selling capability and an ability and desire to coach selling techniques to their team\nExcellent organisational and planning skills\nAccountable and resilient\nFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situations and demonstrate effective problem resolution\n\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

\n\nKnowledge of the hotel conference and banqueting management systems\nPrevious experience in conference and banqueting role \nPrevious customer service experience \n\n
